
Feb. 25, 2011: Mountain Bluebirds were fluttering around and Meadowlarks were singing. These are new birds to add to the PVP bird list.
On February 21, 2011, Girl Scout Marissa Krolnik and her crew put up 5 wooden bat houses in 3 different locations around the Preserve; 1 at the plant nursery, 2 in an old barn structure on the northern edge of the property, and 2 near Rocky Point Weir. Now we sit back and wait for the bats to notice!
